Our Vision for an Inclusive Community
Our valley is built on community, but for many of our neighbors, there are still significant gaps in where they can go to feel truly welcome. As a local dad, I realized our community deserved more than just a place to play—it deserved a "Third Place" where every resident, regardless of age or ability, has a seat at the table.
01. Closing the Inclusivity Gap
Our valley has a vibrant population, yet two specific groups are often left without dedicated spaces for recreation. We are committed to changing that:
- Adults with Disabilities: We host dedicated weekly sessions where adults with developmental or cognitive disabilities can enjoy our multi-level play structures and arcade in a dignified, supportive, and age-appropriate atmosphere.
- Sensory-Friendly Hours: Once a week, we "turn down the volume." We dim the lights and silence the arcade cabinets to provide a calm, low-stimulation environment for children and adults with sensory sensitivities.
02. Strengthening Community Ties
The Forge serves as a premier hub for the valley's community and local families.
- Facility Rentals & Events: Our versatile facility is available for private buy-outs, community events, and birthday parties.
- Weekly Tournaments: We host regular pool tournaments and competitive community events to bring neighbors together for friendly competition.
03. The "Parenting Gap" Solution
We believe parents shouldn't have to "endure" a play center; they should enjoy it.
- Parent Drop-Off Program: Once a month, we offer a 4-hour supervised drop-off window. Parents can enjoy a date night while the kids play in a secure, RFID-monitored environment with dinner included!
